if you are holding ashes will a weapon spell affect you? (since you arent weilding a weapon)

Yes, it will affect you. You don't actually NEED a weapon to have weapon spell ;o

What's the point of the weapon spell armor if your only using vengeful weapon. It is going to disappear the second something hits you. So the point of weapon armor is nothing unless you were say going to use resilliant weapon or some long lasting one. Isn't their armor for while holding an item? Wouldn't that be more useful?

this is nothing new, can be done with pretty much any X/Rt (or Rt/X). Only the W/Rt setup can survive hard mode though.

Ive got the W/Rt Set up and it CANNOT survive Hard Mode ... Dmg rate is too high for VwK to keep up. You get pwned in 15 seconds tops. Must have been nerfed .. the rit chain they unleash now, with lamentation and spirit rift in HM is so spammed, your done in no time.

I can't do it either.

If it's me or some changes made, I don't know.. I get my ass kicked in HM, that's all i know.

last time i did it it worked fined. Its all about the timing of the endure pain.

w/rt works in HM for the first wave. That is a fact.

The only possible way I can see a W/Rt tanking the damage of Destroyer Ritualists in HM is if they're running circles, dodging most everything.

I can't imagine Vengeful's lifestealing, surpassing the damage output of Hard Mode Ritualists.

Even then, 5x Spirit rift, Lamentation and Splinter Shjot kills me in 16 sec ...
Im seeing 115 dmg for each spirit rift, so even with endure pain and health over 1,000, im done in seconds

The OP says NM. Other than the challenge, why would you do this in HM when you're just as likely to get cores to drop in NM?
